In their day, the 1992 Barcelona Games were considered the best ever.

The Barcelona Olympics broke organisational records: 10,000 athletes representing 165 National Olympic Committees participated, an Olympic Village was built to house 15,000 people, 3,500 millions people watched the opening and closing ceremonies on television.
